Float District – Terms & Conditions

Welcome to Float District! By booking a pontoon rental, purchasing an experience, or using our services in any capacity, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read carefully before your float begins.
1. Rental Eligibility
- Renters and all guests must be at least 18 years old to board.
- Only Float District–approved captains may operate our boats. Riders are not allowed to drive.
- Valid photo ID must be presented at check-in.
2. Booking & Payment
- Full payment is required at the time of booking to confirm your reservation.
- A non-refundable $350 deposit is included in all bookings and applies toward your rental total.
- Hourly rental rates are all-inclusive — no hidden fees. Your rate includes gas and a licensed Float District captain.
- Payments are processed via our secure online system. Float District does not store credit card data.
- Hourly rentals start at $350/hour with a 2-hour minimum. Special event rates may apply (SeaFair, FIFA Club World Cup, etc.).
3. Arrival & Check-In
- Guests must arrive at least 30 minutes before departure for safety briefing and boarding.
- Late arrivals may result in reduced rental time or cancellation without refund.
4. Cancellations & Refunds
- Cancellations made more than 72 hours before your scheduled rental are eligible for a full refund, minus the $350 non-refundable deposit.
- Cancellations made between 48 and 72 hours prior to your rental will receive a 50% refund, minus the $350 deposit.
- Cancellations made less than 48 hours in advance and no-shows are non-refundable, and the $350 deposit will also be forfeited.
- If Float District cancels due to unsafe weather or mechanical issues, you will receive a full refund, including your deposit, or the option to reschedule at no extra cost.
5. Safety Rules
- All guests must follow captain instructions at all times.
- No smoking, open flames, or unauthorized alcohol on board.
- USCG-approved life vests are available and required for non-swimmers or upon request.
- No jumping off or swimming from the boat unless cleared by the captain.
- Float District reserves the right to terminate any cruise early for unsafe behavior without refund.
6. Damage & Liability
- The booking party is financially responsible for any damage to the boat, equipment, or facilities during the rental period.
- Float District is not responsible for loss or damage to personal belongings.
- All guests must sign a liability waiver prior to boarding.
7. Media Use
- By participating, you consent to Float District using photos or video footage taken during your rental for marketing or promotional purposes. Let us know in advance if you’d like to opt out.
8. Right to Refuse Service
- Float District reserves the right to refuse service or boarding to anyone under the influence, acting disruptively, or failing to comply with any of the above terms.
